Davis Files Nominating Petitions as GOP Candidate for Congress in IL-15

Over 150 Davis campaign volunteers collected over 3,200 petition signatures of voters from all 35 counties in IL-15

Springfield, IL — This morning, Rodney Davis’ campaign filed nominating petitions to be the Republican candidate for Congress in the 15th District. Over 150 Davis campaign volunteers collected over 3,200 signatures from voters, which is eight times the amount required for ballot access. Signatures were collected from all 35 counties in the 15th District.

Rodney Davis released the following statement after petition filing:

“I’d like to thank everyone on our team who helped us get on the ballot for this election. Over 150 volunteers collected more than 3,200 signatures from voters in all 35 counties of the 15th District. That takes a lot of work, and it’s another big accomplishment for our great team.

“I’ve been a top target of Nancy Pelosi for years, but thanks to our campaign’s strong grassroots support, we’ve beaten the Democrats in every election, and that’s why we’re going to win again in June. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a fighter who runs a campaign to win. Voters in this district want a member of Congress who actually lives here and knows how to get things done. I will outwork any candidate in this race and will work hard to earn every vote in this election.”
