Davis Campaign Releases New Ad: Work Together
Ad highlights Rodney’s bipartisan work to support small business and solve problems for Illinois families
Taylorville, IL — Today, Rodney Davis’ campaign for Congress released a new ad titled “Work Together,” which highlights Rodney’s bipartisan work in Congress to support small business during the COVID-19 pandemic and bring both parties together to solve problems for Illinois families.

The ad features Rodney talking about his bipartisan work in Congress supporting the Paycheck Protection Program, which was created in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). PPP funds have helped save and support over 2 million jobs. Nationally, that figure is approximately 51 million jobs.
According to the Lugar Center, Rodney has been rated the 13th most bipartisan member of Congress, which puts him in the top 3% nationwide. He has also been rated the most bipartisan member from the Illinois delegation, Republican or Democrat. Rodney is committed to bringing both parties together to solve problems, and he has a record of doing that in Congress.
Last month, Rodney’s campaign released an ad titled “Lindy,” which highlights how a small business in Champaign, Illinois was able to keep their employees on the payroll during the pandemic thanks to the Payroll Protection Program. You can watch that ad here.
Rodney: When the pandemic hit, experts were predicting another Great Depression, but Congress stepped up and passed a bipartisan bill to rescue our economy.
The Paycheck Protection Program has saved over 50 million American jobs, 2 million in Illinois at small businesses like this, but it shouldn’t take a national crisis for Democrats and Republicans to work together.
I’m Rodney Davis, I approve this message because I’m fighting every day to bring both parties together and solve problems for Illinois families.
